US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Beginner Level
In this class, young learners will become ready for Kindergarten by becoming more familiar with their letters, sounds and first 20 sight words and begin the first steps in reading, which are all things they will encounter their first weeks in these grades. (This would also be great for students in need of review of these concepts before First grade.) I have worked as an elementary teacher for the last 17 years. I have taught Pre-K and 1st grade and conducted reading intervention in Kinder-1st grade as well. With so much experience in these grades, I am skilled in the knowledge of primary phonics and in the building blocks towards reading. I am able to keep young learners engaged and excited to learn!
