Fun With Music Theory! (Older Edition Part 3!)

This class will cover the basics of music theory using games, slides and fun team work activities! Over the course of four weeks your child will learn how to read sheet music in treble clef, musical terms, and even write a song together! Students will spend the majority of each class playing games and showing off their newly acquired musical skills for each other! This is an introductory class, so there is no need for any prior experience! Every great musician had to start somewhere!

The goal of this course is for your child to gain confidence in reading music, understand fundamental terms and get creative, while having fun in a safe and age appropriate environment! 

The course will be structured as follows: 
Week 1: Minor keys! 
Week 2: Inversions, what are those?
Week 3: How do I build my own Augmented and diminished chords?
Week 4: Apply this! Lets write a song in minor!
