1st Grade Math is a live comprehensive math class that covers all of the topics a student should learn in the 1st grade. Students will learn the following: Learning Numbers Up To 100 Find The Missing Number Counting By 2s, 5s, 10s Single Digit Addition and Subtraction, working up to 3 digits by the end of the course. Word Problems Place Value Measurement and Simple Data Shapes Finding Patterns Simple Fractions of Shapes Adding and Subtracting Simple Fractions Bar Graphs Pie Charts Tally Marks Telling Time Mental Math Tricks of 9s, 10s and 11s Greater Than vs Less Than Adding 3 Stacked Numbers Adding 4 Stacked Numbers Mystery Coloring Sheets for Addition and Subtraction Subtraction With and Without Borrowing Learning Money - U.S. Coins and Bills Counting Money Adding 3 rows of 3 digit Numbers - with and without carrying Minecraft Themed Word Problems and Mystery Codes Rounding There will be occasional printouts to do in class, such as mystery coloring sheets. I recommend using a dry erase board to follow along with problems in class to save paper. I teach with the I do, We do, You do method. We will work through visually stimulating slides where each student takes a turn working through a math problem.
