In this one-time class, students will learn all about the sport of darts—a popular game that involves simple math. The class will cover a brief history of the sport, the parts of a dart, the breakdown of the segments of a dartboard, the proper setup of the board and the throwing line, the proper dart throwing technique, and some of the common games that are played today. The teaching style of this class includes slides, discussions, and show and tell. The students will be actively involved and will use critical thinking. No required experience or knowledge is necessary for this class.
