We will cover the foundations for thinking and speaking well, including the following. This class is meant to focus on useful and ordinary applications of logic. The goal is to bring clear thinking to the daily conversations we have and media/books/movies we take in. What is a discussion, a disagreement, an argument, and a fight? Students will achieve a basic understanding of logic-related vocabulary, including "discussion, disagreement, argument, fight." Students will be able to distinguish between these and apply what they have learned to classify examples.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
