This is a one-time class designed to help students memorize high frequency words such as what, would, when, who, how, look, etc. We will practice about 15 words through a variety of fun ways such as word cubes, think fast, spelling bee, and memory games. We will also practice these words with guided reading assistance using the book Biscuit Goes to School. This class is designed specifically for students struggling with sight word memorization and for early learners who are just starting...
Students will work to retain words we use frequently in our every day setting and early reading lessons.
Pencil Few Sheets of Paper or flash cards for practice after class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
