Join us as we enter the mysterious world of Jack and Annie! Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House: The Graphic Novel series, is adapted from the hit chapter book series! The goal of this book club is to help nurture students' love of reading, by introducing them to the engaging world of age appropriate graphic novels! This book series combines fact and fiction, while teaching valuable life lessons-all with intriguing characters and exciting adventures. Before class time, students will read, or listen to, the assigned book for the week. Students will need to bring a copy of the week's book to refer to during class. While in class, students will be encouraged to practice critical thinking skills while discussing each book's story elements: theme, plot, setting, characters and point of view. This class is ongoing, with a different book in the series being discussed each week. Feel free to join at any time!
