Class Experience

In this one time class, students will work with the teacher in a class lecture style with questioning and answers. We will work to understand that a function has only one input for every output. The focus of the lesson is to begin laying the foundation for multiple representations of functions with a primary focus on tables and rules. To be successful, it is recommended that students have working knowledge of what a table is, what a graph is, and be able to plot points on a graph when presented with an example.

Mrs. Reynolds has a degree in Elementary Education with specialized focus on Math and Science education. She is also certified to teach middle school math, which allows her to teach 7th and 8th grade math and a certification for general sciences K-12.

Hi! My name is Mackenzie Reynolds! I have a degree in Elementary Education which allows me to teach all subject areas for Kindergarten through the 6th grade, but I love all students!
I also have certifications to teach Math through the 8th grade and general sciences through the 12th grade! I love to teach about all things fractions, algebra, and trigonometry! I also love the biologies!
I have taught in the public school system for the last two years! I loved teaching both 6th and 8th grade math. Additionally, I function as a private tutor!
I believe everything we do plays into the puzzle we call life, and math happens to be one of those pieces! Everyone can do math with a little practice and guidance! I would love to be that person for you.
My dog Petey is the sweetest little Pitbull. She is an attention hog! (So don't be surprised if you see a little tail running around!) I also love to play a game called Disc Golf with my husband. He always beats me, but I'm catching up quick! I also have a passion for art. I love to paint and draw.
I'm so excited to work with you! Let's get started!
