In this multi-day course (1 time a week every Sunday) the students will be learning about fractions. I believe that learning fractions is very important. Fractions will be used daily throughout every student's lives such as measurement when baking, measurement when building or cutting or using tools, when telling time. Overall, fractions tell you what portion of a whole you need, have, or want. Fractions are also building blocks to courses they will use later on: algebra, graphing, and...
This class is taught in English.
The students will be given individual assignments based on what was taught that week. It should take no longer then 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Basic or scientific calculator Notebook or notebook paper for writing notes/problems
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be given a final assessment on everything that was taught the previous seven weeks.
