Description
Class Experience
In this 2 part cooking class, students will learn to make their own Chocolate Cream Pie and Banana Pudding Parfaits. Class will outline kitchen safety, cooking vocabulary words, following directions, measurement and a whole scoop of fun! Video 2 will offer 2 short , fun and easy cooking classes for sweet summer treats. Students will learn to make their own Angel Food Dessert and Banana Splits on a Stick. Fun with Food will outline kitchen safety, cooking vocabulary words, following directions, measurement and a whole scoop of fun! Each class offers a video for the week, with a beginning, middle and end focus question. 4 no bake classes, over 4 weeks, on a flex schedule. Students submit focus question answers for discussion as well as submit photos of their best work. Recognizing kitchen utensils and making friends, bonus bingo game / scavenger hunt included. Weekly: Students will answer “beginning” question for teacher in online classroom & then watch video to make that weeks dessert. Students will answer “middle” question in online classroom during the process and answer “end” question after the dessert is complete. - Teacher will interact with students after each set of answers & play the interactive bingo / scavenger hunt bonus game! The interactive bingo game will be woven across all 4 weeks with searches and opportunities to make new friends, interactive discussions, interactive learning and sharing “finds” with the class.

Adult supervision is required for kitchen safety. This class requires no heat, no baking, or no electric devices. Easy class - just stir, chill, and serve! Adult supervision is required for opening products, cutting bananas, and supervision of liquid measurements. Allergens: All recipes require milk (non dairy milk is an acceptable substitute) Nuts are optional.
