This course follows "Fun With Fifth Grade Math: Semester 1". In this 17 week course, we cover addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions. We also learn measurement, data, area, volume, and geometry.

1 hour per week. Most lessons will include worksheets to complete during class and homework for additional practice outside of class. The homework is encouraged but not mandatory.Certificate of Completion
We will review the worksheets during class together. The learners have the option to send me a copy of their homework to grade.Class Experience
US Grade 5
This 17 week course covers fifth grade math. It has a total of 17 weeks and meets twice per week for 45 minutes. Each week is a different math objective. My classes are interactive and fun. Learners should be familiar with place value, addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, and fractions. I like to engage the children and we all problem solve together. I use fun animated PowerPoint slides during my lessons. I always encourage learner interaction and I check in occasionally with a thumbs up to make sure there are no questions before we proceed. I will send out a worksheet, homework, or other material to be printed each week. I post them the day before class. If you can, please print and bring to class. Or you may bring some paper and pencil. I will also let you know if there are other materials that are needed for the week.

Learner should have completed fourth grade math. They should be familiar with the concepts in "Fun With Fifth Grade Math: Semester 1". They should be comfortable with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
