This is a fun intro class to the cool process of needle felting also known as wool painting. This is a dry felting process using a barbed needle and wool roving to create a felted Sheep. Suggested age is 10 and up due to the sharp barbed needle, dexterity and patience required. The dry felting process of needle felting is achieved by continuously poking and stabbing the pure wool roving which causes the fibers to interlock and felt. Students first create his body. We will then add his head, tail and legs. Everything is done using the needle (no glue).
