This is a one time fun hands-on lesson on weathering and erosion.

I will read the book Erosion by G. Gibbons. Then we will watch a short video clip of erosion and weathering. Next, I will present a PowerPoint on erosion and weathering. As I am doing these activities, I will be asking and answering questions to clarify anything students may need help with. After this, the fun begins! Students will make a model to block erosion and present to the class if they want to. No background knowledge is needed for this class. All learners are welcomed.
- Students will able to describe the basic difference between physical weathering and erosion. Students will be able to define and understand what physical weathering and erosion is.
I have 26 years of teaching experience and two master’s degrees plus 30. I am certified in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, learning disabilities and Primary Montessori. I have the literacy endorsement and I have also been the Literacy Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year. I am trained in Project Read and Ortan- Gillingham.
