As a Kindergarten teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of dogs! Students will learn some fun facts about golden dogs. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences with dogs. We will also get to meet a special guest, my own golden retriever!  The students will then learn how to draw their very own cute golden retriever step-by step, through directed drawing.  Using my own easel, I will give your child step by step instructions to help them create their own adorable dog drawing. Directed drawing is beneficial to children because it helps to develop listening skills, focus and creativity.  As well, your child will gain confidence in their ability to create beautiful art.  If there is time, drawings may be coloured or painted and shared.
