Calling all dog lovers! Students will learn fun facts about dogs, as they are guided step-by-step through a directed drawing of a golden retriever. There will even be a surprise visitor! (My own golden retriever!)
Class experience
As a Kindergarten teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of dogs! Students will learn some fun facts about golden dogs. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences with dogs. We will also get to meet a special guest, my own golden retriever! The students will then learn how to draw their very own cute golden retriever step-by step, through directed drawing. Using my own easel, I will give your child step by step...
Students will learn facts about how to take care of a dog. Students will use their oral communication skills to ask questions and share experiences. Students will develop fine motor control by drawing a golden retriever. Students will develop listening skills, focus and creativity by completing a directed drawing of a golden retriever.
Homework Offered
Students may share with a family member the facts they learned about dogs and can try to teach someone else the steps to drawing one.Assessments Offered
