Class Experience
Join me for a fun and engaging 5-day summer camp where beginner English students ages 6-8 will practice CVC words (short a, e, i, o and u) and play BINGO with other learners. Each day we will focus on a different vowel sound. We will practice the vocabulary words at the beginning of each class, before playing Bingo using Google Slides. Learners will be able to identify short a, e, i, o, u CVC words. Learners will practice reading CVC words.

There is no homework for this class, but learners will be given extra activities after each meeting to complete on their own time.
A copy of the Google Slides Bingo cards will be posted to the class page 24 hours before the start of the camp. Please make a copy of this presentations before class. Learners can review the cards and select the one(s) they want to use.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the week.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will use Google Slides to practice the vocabulary words at the start of each class meeting. This will be done through screen share. We will then use Google Slides to play Bingo. Learners will use EDIT Mode to play Bingo. Detailed instructions are included in the presentation. This will be explained during the class, but it would be helpful to review these instructions with your learner beforehand.
