1-2 hours per week. Practice, practice, practice! I will attach the characters learned in each class in a Word document. Please print and study them if time allows :) I feel that if students review the lessons twice a day for 10 minutes each time, they will be able to remember everything better than if they review less than that. If that is not possible, of course, just ensure that your learner enjoys learning Chinese and have fun with it.Class Experience
This is the beginners' class for children who have had no exposure to Chinese or very little exposure to Chinese. Learners should have completed "Fun with Chinese: Level 1A (Ages 4-7)" prior to enrolling in this section. We will continuously review prior knowledge and build on it. By the last class, they will be able to sing at least 1 additional Chinese song and create their own music video at home! These classes are meant to present Chinese in a simple manner where children can build their confidence in learning the language. In this section of classes, learners will complete the following lessons: 1. Numbers 1 2. Numbers 2 3. Animals 1 4. Animals 2 5. My Face 1 6. My Face 2 7. Learn Chinese Songs 8. Learning Goals
In these four weeks, students will be able to add to their vocabulary and continue to converse in very simple Chinese phrases and recognize more Chinese characters. By the last class, they will be able to sing at least 1 Chinese song and create their own music video at home!

For this younger group of students, I welcome parents to be by their learners during class. A parent's presence will help the learners feel more secure and well supported.
Learners should know how to use the mute/unmute button during class. If learners are too young, please be by their side to assist.
