Fun With Cantonese! Vocabulary 3 (Beginner's Course) FLEX Class

Do you want your little ones to speak more Cantonese? Or learn a new language? 
Learning more than one language can improve memory, improve performance in other academic areas, and even enhance the ability to multi-task! 

This is an 8-week flex class where there are NO live meetings and learners follow a "flexible schedule format", that allows learners to work at any time during each designated week and for the duration of the course. I can be reached in the Outschool classroom and will answer all questions within 24 hours. 

This class is learning simple vocabulary Cantonese. 

Course Outline:
Week 1- My Family
Learn how to say the names of family members. Eg. Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Grandmother, Grandfather, etc. 

Week 2- Pets
Learn how to say the different types of pets. Eg. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Birds, etc. 

Week 3- Days of the week
Learn the seven days of the week. 

Week 4- Months of the year
Learn the 12 months of the year.

Week 5- Feelings & Emotions
Learn the different feelings and emotions. Eg. Happy, Sad, Excited, Scared, etc. 

Week 6- Ocean Animals
Learn the names of ocean animals. Eg. Fish, Lobster, Dolphin, etc. 

Week 7- Sports
Learn the different types of sports. Eg. Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, etc. 

Week 8- Community Helpers
Learn the names of our community helpers. Eg. Policemen, firemen, Doctors, etc. 

Each week:
- Learners will receive a video of me teaching the lesson that will allow learners to practice and repeat 
- Worksheets will be provided each week for each topic and learners will need to finish and post to the class page. I will mark and provide feedback
- Worksheets will include drawings and designs and learners will post in the classroom and other learners can vote and leave comments to interact 
- Games, Kahoot games, scavenger hunts will be played and learners will post photos or videos and other learners can leave comments to interact  
- Learners will post a video/audio practicing words or sentences learned each week and I will provide feedback or corrections as needed 

*Learners can interact without any time difference by using the course page to post worksheets and videos and share them with others and me. 
* Classes are asynchronous. There are no live classes to meet at a specific time. Learners only need to complete the video and worksheets independently. 
*No prior knowledge of Cantonese is needed. 
*Fun With Cantonese! Vocabulary 1 (Beginner's Course) FLEX Class is not a prerequisite 

Class videos and materials will be in both English and Cantonese.
