Description
Class Experience
The goal of this class is to help each learner to grow and become confident independent readers where they are able to utilize their reading skills and strategies successfully in all areas.
*Learners will be expected to practice their reading skills outside of class. *Learners will have access to the readers and additional activities through the guided reading platform. Sign-in information will be given in a separate classroom post following assessment. The additional activities are optional but highly encouraged so that I may properly assess your learner and provide feedback as necessary. *I encourage learners to work on assignments on their own, putting forth their best effort so that I am able to see where each learner may be struggling and where additional focus is needed.
1 file available upon enrollmentI will provide reading material and printables for this course, some which will be available upon enrollment and prior to each additional class. Learners are expected to have materials printed before hand so that they are ready and prepared at the start of the class. In addition learners will need some of the following (as available in the home): *blank white paper, white crayon and markers *Lined paper or notebook *magnetic letters *whiteboard and markers/eraser *clear page protectors or pockets *glue and scissors *pencil
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
