Let's be creative and enjoy the process! In this ongoing class we will create arts and crafts projects using common art materials and household items. Learner creativity and artistic individuality will be encouraged. Supply list will vary each week and will be posted in the classroom. Class structure: 1) Greetings, material checklist, introduction to activity 2) Step-by-step instructions as we create our art/craft - Taking creative liberties will be encouraged - Learners will not be required to create a project identical to my example - We will focus on being creative, having fun and enjoying the process of making something new 3) Time provided for sharing learnerβs creations - learner's will not be required to share, but will be encouraged to share if they want to 4) Wrap-up/Goodbyes Schedule: Week of August 14, 2023: Cherry Blossom Painting Week of August 21, 2023: Lighthouse Sunset Painting Week of August 28, 2023: Sunset Cactus Painting Week of September 4, 2023: Donut Painting Week of September 11, 2023: Watermelon Painting Week of September 18, 2023: Tissue Paper Art Week of September 25, 2023: Sunflower Painting Week of October 2, 2023: Landscape Painting Week of October 9, 2023: Pineapple Painting Typical Supply List: - Paint (washable or acrylic) - Paper (mixed media or cardstock) - Paint brushes - Paint tray or paper plate - Paper towel and water as needed for clean up Some weeks may include: - Yarn - Glue - Empty toilet paper roll - Cotton swabs - Plastic fork *Due to the social nature of this class, and to maintain learner privacy, class recordings will not be shared.* Please note this is an ongoing class. Learners are welcomed to join for whichever weeks best suit their schedule.

Parental Guidance
Learners may be required to use scissors. Supervision/help should be nearby. If scissors are not in the weekβs supply list, they will not be needed. This information will be provided in advance of the class.
Supply List
Supplies will vary each week and will be posted in the classroom. Common items may include: - Paint (washable or acrylic) - Paint brushes - Paper (Mix media, cardstock, construction paper) - Scissors - Glue - Pencil crayons - Empty toilet paper rolls/paper towel rolls - Markers - Yarn

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am an avid crafter and love to paint, create macrame hangings, crochet, craft with paper and planners, and experiment with the latest crafting trends. I am a certified elementary teacher and have been working with learners in schools and online for over 10 years.
