Assessment
1 after class completionClass Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 4
Beginner - Advanced Level
This one-time 30-minute 1:1 class will help parents find out their child's grade level in math. Each grade level from Kindergarten to Grade 6 has its own assessment of about 10 to 12 questions on math concepts such as number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, word problems, fractions, and/or beginning algebra. The students will give answers orally. If they don't know more than 3 questions, I will move the level down; if they find it too easy, I will move the level up. If there is a particular grade level you want me to begin the assessment at, you can let me know ahead of time. Before the class ends, if they have completed all questions, they will know what their grade level is in math.
Learning Goals
Students will find out their grade level in math after doing the assessment.
