Fun Stories with Merrie Dickens - Reading Club
We will read fun stories and share our thoughts as we go. We will start by reading select your path mystery stories. If we have multiple learners, we will take a vote on the direction to take and we will go with the majority.

Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to listen for details, process information, draw conclusions, predict, and express their thoughts in safe, warm, low-risk environment.
I have raised and read to four wonderful humans who absolutely loved our reading time together. In addition to my extensive years in the high school English classroom, I spent 6 years building a successful theater arts program. My mannerisms lean more toward the theatrical, so my students always seem to enjoy it when I read to them. I intend to use those skills in the club.
No homework is required in this club.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will gladly share observations in a private message with parents at the end of the ongoing club. If there are skills that might need support as we progress, I will discuss with parents along the way, but only in a private message.
