Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano
During my years at the university, I had the privilege of being employed by a renowned language company in Colombia CIL. Under the guidance of the institute's owner, I received specialized training in a conversational teaching methodology designed to effectively instruct ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish to non-native speakers. This experience provided me with invaluable hands-on learning opportunities, allowing me to develop the skills necessary to teach individuals to communicate proficiently in different languages. Additionally, I gained expertise in educating children in both English and Spanish, and I became adept at serving as a bridge of knowledge across various subjects in which I held certifications.
The time I spent working at CIL was truly remarkable, and it influenced my decision to continue my tenure with them for more than eight years. This prolonged association afforded me extensive training in handling English and Spanish classes, further enhancing my teaching abilities. Today, I utilize my wealth of experience and native fluency in Spanish to share my knowledge with children, helping them navigate the intricacies of language acquisition. Moreover, I am deeply committed to supporting their emotional well-being and assisting them in coping with anxiety and stress through the practice of mindfulness.
Although my primary field of study is International Business, my passion lies in working with children and embarking on a journey of shared learning with them. Their innate curiosity and unwavering enthusiasm inspire me to continually expand my knowledge and refine my teaching approach. By combining my academic background with my dedication to fostering the growth of children, I aim to create a nurturing environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
