In this interesting world, it can be a challenge to see the positive science events going on in the world. This class is aimed at looking at current events of happy science stories and discussing them. Topics will be dictated weekly by the current events/happenings of what is new in science at the time. Brief lectures will be used when needed to enhance what a science event is all about at times, but will not build upon previous weeks and will not be a sequential curriculum. Brief videos...
Learners will learn about positive events happening in science.
Random assignments will be given at times that learners are welcome to complete. Some videos will be sent prior to classes.
No materials will be necessary for classes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress will not be assessed.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
