This class does not have any homework. However, we do encourage students to practice their scales during there free time. We also motivate them to play the warm up exercise and Ode to Joy whenever possible.Class Experience
LEARNING GOALS 1. REVIEW THE C SCALE 2. PLAY THE C SCALE WITH BOTH HANDS 3. PLAY 1 WARM UP EXERCISE WITH BOTH HANDS 4. PLAY ODE TO JOY WITH BOTH HANDS The goal for part 2 is to introduce children to chords by playing the warm up exercise with two hands. This is the warm up exercise that was introduced in part 1. Addtionally, they will be able to play Ode to Joy with two hands. Sometimes, playing chords can be tricky, so I teach children's how to use pinch chords to make it easy and fun. This lesson will open door for deeper dives with the piano through private lessons.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to play both a warm up song and Ode to Joy with two hands. They will also review the C scale and practice how to play it with b oth hands.

Parental Guidance
We do not suggest any outside work. We only tell students to have fun and practice what they have learned if they have time.
Supply List
No need for extra materials. Student must have a piano or keyboard - no specific type of piano or keyboard brand is necessary.

My name is Teacher Moises and my passion is seeing children walk with confidence. I teach piano lessons, ESL, Spanish, Essay Writing, and Public Speaking. I hold a degree in Computer Science, but I have dedicated 15 years of my career to Leadership and People development, and teaching children how to communicate effectively. My main goal in any class is having fun and protecting the self-esteem of all students. The goal is to excite them about what they love the most, and do it with confidence. I am married to the most lovely lady in the world, and my three children are so wonderful. I love bike riding and hikng in some of the most beautiful trails in Canada.
