This one-time class will be painting a Christmas Tree with a fork and Q-tips
Class experience
In this class we will be painting a traditional Christmas Tree using found objects of a fork and Q-tips. Also, we will learn a bit of background of where the trees derived from. I will show an example then go through the steps of materials needed and instruction. I will have a overhead camera for demonstration and one for me speaking to interact with students. Student will learn how to use found object as tools for painting. Students will learn using difference shades for creating depth in painting.
Materials : Fork -metal (works better) or plastic (tree branches) Acrylic paint or Tempera - dark and light green, brown, red, yellow, and blue Watercolor paper or thicker stock paper Paper plate for paint pallet Qtips (trunk, star and ornaments)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
