This class is the perfect way to help celebrate the holidays with a fun science experiment! We will meet once a week to complete a fun holiday themed experiment! The teacher will lead learners through the steps of the scientific method to successfully complete the experiment. Week of 1/2 fizzy New Year cups 6 plastic short champagne or wine glasses, vinegar, baking soda, water, confetti, turkey baster or spoon Week of 1/9 Fireworks in a jar warm water, different colors of food coloring, vegetable oil, large mason jar, small bowl, spoon Week of 1/16 Confetti popper balloon with top cutoff, masking tape, colored paper or markers to decorate, stickers (optional), confetti, toilet paper roll Week of 1/23 New Years slime Clear PVA School Glue, Liquid Starch (Sta-Flo brand), Water, glitter or confetti Week of 1/30 Valentine's Day growing heart baking soda, vinegar, empty water bottle, balloon, permanent markers, funnel Week of 2/6 Valentine's Viscosity Experiment small tall clear plastic cups, small plastic hearts (or similar), water, dish soap, oil, liquid glue, corn syrup
