This class is a wonderful option for anyone who may be away from home or does not have access to toys or art materials. The Guessing Game is a wonderful way to work on Categorizing skills and Deductive Reasoning. I will think of an animal (or shape, color, object) and learners will each take turns to ask me a yes or no question. Ex: Does the animal live on a farm? Is the animal blue? Does it swim? If students get stumped I will offer a hint to help further narrow their guesses. This wonderful game can be done with a small or large group or students and can be modified for various ages. Learning should be fun and engaging. This game is certainly that! It is a wonderful way to teach animal facts, critical thinking, creativity, categorizing, process of elimination.
