As a French specialist for 15 years, I offer a creative, authentic and student-centred language learning experience to young learners! Learning a second language can be an intimidating experience for your learners, this class offers gentle, encouraging support speaking French in a nurturing, risk-free environment. Students will learn to converse freely through a thematic and communicative approach to language development. We will study a broad range of themes all under umbrella of "Tout Sur Moi" or "All About Me!". French will be acquired through interactive games, open dialogue, songs, art, role-play and stories. Students will study but not be limited to a different thematic unit each class: Class 1: Salutations & All About Me Class 2: Colors, Numbers & My Hobbies Class 3: Animals & Adjectives Class 4: My Family & My Home All strands of second language learning will develop and improve: speaking, reading, writing, listening, viewing and representing language structures acquired. This includes but is not limited to vocabulary expansion, comprehension, sentence construction and fluency as well as the improved ability to engage in open and constructive dialogue with myself, their French teacher as well as their class peers. Upon completion, students will receive their very own CERTIFICATE OF SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNING to cherish and celebrate!
