Let's make exercising fun and exciting! These classes will be filled with various exercises that will be challenging and enjoyable. What better way to improve our health and have fun at the same time! This class will increase muscle tone and maximise calorie burn. No equipment needed, all body exercises. - Students who are participating can improve their full body fitness and overall cardio. Teaching the importance of cardio and its relevance to sports performance. - Students will learn that fitness in general can keep them active, healthy and happy. - Students will learn how important warm up exercises and stretching is important to recovery and reducing muscle soreness. - Students will learn to work with others in teams - Students will learn correct form and technique - Overall, how to push through when things get tough, which essentially will be a life skill that can be translated in any area in our lives
No mandatory homework. Students are encourage to stretch before and after class. Also students can practice some of the learned exercises in class on their own.
- Water Bottle - Towel - Open space
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed through multiple question/feedback throughout the lesson. Students will be given feedback at the end of class as well.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Potential hazards: Include, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, close-toe shoes, and adequate stretching beforehand. No glass or any delicate objects in the area.
