Description

Class Experience

*This is a one-time free-talk class so there is no specific curriculum. However, students will be guided through several different activities and given prompts that encourage them to speak in full sentences and form their own thoughts. 

*The class is broken down into 5 speaking activities (~5 mins. speaking time per activity) as follows: 
👉🏻1. Escape Room - Let's work together to use the clues in the kitchen and find out how to escape! 
👉🏻2. Video Comprehension Questions - Let's watch and sing...

This class is taught in English.

Expand the vocabulary of English words
Answer questions with complete sentences using proper grammar
Express original thoughts/opinions/ideas while using English
Improve pronunciation
Gain confidence in English speaking abilities

***Note***

👉🏻Though there is no official curriculum for this free talk class, learners are required to finish a quick test (10-15 minutes) before class to assess their abilities and make sure they are taking the right level course:

👉🏻There are 15 questions and you will need headphones to answer some of the questions.
👉🏻This is an assessment test from Cambridge University
👉🏻Assessments help place students according to CEFR (Common European Framework Reference) standards.
👉🏻This class is best suited for learners at an A1 or A2 level.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
