Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their fraction vocabulary and build upon their knowledge of equal shares, halves, thirds, and fourths. By the end of this summer camp students will be able to make equivalent fractions, compare fractions, plot fractions on a number line, and identify fractions in their lives.
I am a credentialed Elementary school teacher.
Optional: Learners will be able to redo the lessons and activities that we complete for extra practice to help cement their learning.
Files/supply lists will be sent at least 24 hours prior to the start of class. Learners will need basic school supplies such as: pencils, paper, and colored pencils/crayons.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
