Fun Forms: Writing Nonet and Acrostic Poems

How'd you like to tell a story in only nine lines and 45 syllables? You might also enjoy writing a poem based upon only one word! #ACADEMIC

We're going to have a great time in this Fun Forms class! The forms learned in this class are Nonet and Acrostic.

Nonets let you tell the story of your choice. You just have to follow the rules! You've got nine lines and 45 syllables in which you can share all the interesting details.

Acrostics let you begin with one word, and expand it into a complete poem with a line for every letter of your initial word. It makes for a fun challenge!

Remember, we are all expanding our knowledge together (including the teacher).
I'm looking forward to learning with you!

Mrs. Rae Marie (M.Ed.) (Writing, Poetry, Fantasy Fiction, ACE Educator)
