Class Experience

Students will explore physics and engineering principles in a fun and creative way using paper.By folding paper in various ways students will design bridges and measure the strength of each design.Thus they will learn how the design differences have an impact on its strength.When we apply science to design it is called engineering. Students will conclude principles which are applied in civil engineering. Also students will understand the underlying principle of strengthening the plywood...

In this interactive class student will learn scientific principles applied in civil engineering.

Try  some more ways of your own of folding paper and making strong structures to support heavy weights.

students will need
plain paper ( letter size) 7 - 8 
Thick textbooks to be the supports of the bridge - 4
Coins preferably quarters - 100 
and also some small objects to test how much weight each paper bridge can hold- like paper clips,small heavy object.
And most importantly a curious kid.
