Class Experience

The students will learn new vocabulary words relating to picnic. They will repeat the words after me. I will ask questions individually and as a group. Examples are ( what is it?), ( how many?) , ( what colour is it? ) .
We will also have some thumbs up and thumbs down games which we will play individually and as group . I am using the interactive method.
There is not sensitive or high-risk topic
The students may draw their own pictures after class if they wish.
Paper and pencil and crayons or markers are optional. The student or student may want to illustrate or copy a word of interest to them during class time.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will give a great deal of praise in this class. I feel praise at this level is the essential ingredient to learning a second language. It makes the child confident and excited to learn.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There is no content which is inappropriate for any age.
I use stories that I have made up during my teaching experience as a French immersion teacher relating to the subject of picnics with friends.
