Description
Class Experience
Students will become more comfortable with trying to speak Spanish while learning basic vocabulary. I know sometimes learning a new language can be challenging and intimidating. This class will provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment. I can truly help with correct pronunciation as I am a native speaker.
I am a bilingual speech language pathologist (SLP). My first language was Spanish so I am a native speaker. I enjoy working with children of all abilities and talents. I currently work as a bilingual SLP at an elementary and middle school. I live in a border town and the Mexican culture is deeply embedded in my life. I am familiar with Mexican culture and traditions and will try to incorporate that knowledge into all my classes.
Homework will be given at the end of class as practice or carryover into the home.
No supplies needed. Just a positive attitude and ready to learn.
Consistent feedback will be provided. Parents feel free to message me in Outschool with any concerns or questions.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
