This fun Draw & Tell style art class for preschool, kindergarten, & first-grade kids will meet twice a week in small groups. Students draw a new "surprise" each week as they listen to a fun story and make new friends.

Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a drawing class where I encourage interaction but never demand it. Students listen to me read a fun story while drawing along with live demonstration and support. The drawings are made line by line, shape by shape as the story unfolds creating interest and suspense. My goal is to connect with students and inspire them to complete the drawings by embellishing them with things fueled by the story and their own imaginations. Children participate by anticipating and predicting the action helping to enhance listening skills, and teaching them to recognize and use common language structures in their storytelling and writing.
