¡Hola! Welcome to Fun Conversational Spanish for Teens! In this engaging class, your teen will embark on an exciting journey to master conversational Spanish. Designed for English-speaking & Spanish-speaking teens, this course offers a dynamic and interactive approach to learning one of the world's most widely spoken languages.

With sessions held twice a week for 30 minutes each, our class fits seamlessly into your teen's busy schedule. Whether your teen is a beginner or already has some Spanish knowledge, our curriculum is tailored to accommodate all proficiency levels.

Profe Rosa Roncancio, is an experienced native Spanish speaker from Colombia with more than 25 years of teaching experience. Rosa's depth of knowledge is further enhanced by her experience as an AP reader, and master´s degree from The University of Salamanca, Spain. 


Through a blend of activities, games, role-plays, and discussions, students will develop their speaking, listening, and comprehension skills while exploring the rich tapestry of Hispanic culture.

Each week we cover greetings, introductions and common everyday phrases

Pre-Requisites
To be successful in this class, learners should have taken at least one semester of level 1 Spanish or have exposure to Spanish at home.

Welcome! I'm Dr. Ayishah Dennis, the founder of Bilingual Beginnings. In 2006, I was a Spanish teacher in a public school teaching students, ages 11–18 and started a Spanish language program for children ages 3–11 in a private Montessori after school program. 

I am passionate about teaching children Spanish because they easily absorb the language they hear when it is introduced using an immersive approach.

Our Curriculum:
Bilingual Beginnings provides its own curriculum that is visually immersive and age-appropriate. Our curriculum is adaptive and caters to every student's learning needs. We teach literacy, basic mathematics, and science concepts in Spanish. Our goal is for students to naturally acquire Spanish while learning academic concepts and developing social skills 

Our Teachers: 
Our teachers are passionate educators with expertise in their subject and a love for teaching children. They have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree and more than 10 years teaching experience. All of our teachers have virtual teaching experience, and trained in effective teaching strategies. 

🦋Dr. Ayishah Dennis:
¡Hola! I´m Dr. Dennis and I teach preschool to high school level Spanish. I have a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature, a M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I am a certified K–12 Spanish & ESL teacher, have taught in public and private schools for 25 years, and was a middle and high school assistant principal and principal for 5 years. My goal is to continue to develop each child's curiosity and natural love of learning.

¡Hola! My name is Rosa Roncancio and I'm a seasoned language educator from Colombia, boasting two decades of teaching experience with English and Spanish at various levels. I am a proud native Spanish speaker with a Master's Degree from the prestigious University of Salamanca, Spain. I bring all this experience and knowledge to every student interaction, and I am always ready to help you learn and reach your maximum potential.

Missed Classes & Refund Policy:
In the event a student misses a class, a class recording is provided if there are other students enrolled in the same class. We do not offer makeup classes. Refunds are provided if a student withdraws prior to the start of  class.

Enrollment:
A minimum of 3 students is required to hold native-speaker classes. If there are not enough learners within 24 hours of class, families are contacted to inform them that the class has been cancelled.

Sibiling Discount:
We offer a 10% sibling discount.
