Class Experience

After the course, you go 'home' with your own designed game. You are able to design your own games. You can think about goals, design, interaction, and user experience in your game, among other things. If you want to continue learning to program, after the course you will be ready to continue with a textual programming language such as Javascript or Python.
Our trainers are experts in programming, building games, and teaching young people, so you learn from the best. They are school teachers or have worked as teachers at our Code Camps. They explain the basic programming concepts and how you can apply them in your own games. You build well-known existing games (think of Pong, Platformer, Frogger, and Space Shooter). The workshops are fun, educational, and practical!
There will be no homework but students are allowed to continue working on game ideas independently.
Welcome! I'm excited that you joined this class. Would you please introduce yourself to me and the other learners? And please share any background or questions you have in this topic area. If parents/caregivers have not yet created an account for their children in our tool Coderise Create, please do so in this link: We can't wait to meet you soon. The Coderise-Team
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will receive a certificate and parents will receive a progress report at the end of the course.

Non-parental guidance is required. Participation of the parents will be optional.
We will be using an open-sourced platform called Coderise Create. It is very similar to the MIT platform Scratch. Over 20,000 persons (between students and teachers) have used the platform. Parents can immediately create an account in the following link :
