Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn about fun Christmas traditions. We will look at the latest Christmas traditions trends and how they have impacted our holiday celebrations. Traditions that will be covered will include the ugly Christmas sweater and the Christmas pickle. We will also explore some fun holiday traditions that are done in different states. Christmas traditions in this class will remain secular in focus. Students are welcome to share what Christmas traditions they do with their families throughout the lesson as we do a "Share a Tradition Challenge." Parents should remain off-camera providing supervision for students in the class as students share traditions. Students will also be encouraged to draw an ugly Christmas sweater as we take a look at some of the ugliest Christmas sweaters. At the end of class, students will be challenged to create a family tradition they would like to start with their family. During this class, a slide presentation will be shown and students will play an interactive game. I look forward to exploring fun holiday traditions with your child in class during this holiday season.
