Description

Class Experience

Students will learn different kicks and punches with proper technique, blocking and striking, self defense skills, verbal judo to de-escalate and avoid bullying and other situations, learn respect and other important life skills, even counting and other phrases in Korean!
Master Nick is a 4th degree black belt instructor certified through Korea and has been teaching martial arts and school programs for over 10 years! He is excellent with kids of all ages and is experienced in working with kids with special needs and attention deficit disorders.
The only homework we give students is to practice your respect and listening skills outside of class (such as saying yes mom and dad the first time they're asked to do something). They also are encouraged to practice their self control and kicks and punching techniques in a safe environment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
A learners progress is assessed via an informal assessment. We will have them demonstrate their skills to a master instructor. Then if they can demonstrate the skills successfully then they can progress to their next belt rank.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note that any physical fitness class such as this may require an open workout space, proper footwear, a water bottle if needed, and adequate stretching beforehand to prevent any potential injuries that can occur if not properly supervised.
