Coding Fun With a Botley Robot. Mission 1: Let's Get Moving!

Unlock the exciting world of programming in this fun-filled, one-time class using Botley the robot!

Your child will take their first steps into coding by learning how to program Botley to reach a goal. With simple commands like Left, Right, Forward, and Backward, they’ll discover the importance of precise instructions and sequence in coding.

We’ll start with an easy introduction to using the programmer, then jump right into hands-on challenges! Every child will get a chance to guide Botley through increasingly tricky tasks, orally providing the commands I’ll input for the robot. If your child needs help, I’ll encourage teamwork as we problem-solve together.

Since every group is unique, each session adapts to match the abilities of the children, ensuring a dynamic learning experience full of creativity and fun!

This class is a perfect taste of my weekly, 10-session program, and your child can join as often as they like.

Botley is programmed similarly to Bee-Bot, a tool many schools use in technology lessons—meaning your child can build on skills learned in school with this interactive experience.
