This one-time class will be an introduction into coding, using Botley the robot. You child will be taught the first steps to programming: how to instruct the robot to reach his goal. The class will focus on the basic instructions Left, Right, Forward and Backward and the importance of the order and exactness of instructions. We will start with how to use the programmer, and then get into it! Each child will be given the chance to practice making the robot move with increasingly difficult...
Your child will learn the basic steps in programming my robot Botley. They will think through all the steps to reach the goal and communicate these steps to me. They will work on direction giving from the view of the robot. Your child will collaborate to achieve the challenges where needed.
