Beginner Level
In this 4 lesson directed painting class learners will create a different acrylic during painting each lesson step-by-step along with Miss Jennie. This class is for any level of acrylic painting skill, and learners will be encouraged to add their own creative touch to their paintings. We will use a variety of acrylic painting techniques throughout the four painting projects. The class theme for this series is "Fun Friends"! We will be painting these 4 pictures: * "Dragonfly Drifting By" - a whimsical dragonfly flies through the sky * "Ladybug Friend" - a ladybug sits on a leaf * "Friendly Fox" - a cute fox smiles back at you * "Owl Eyes" - a closeup of a cute & colorful owl's face Please see the attached Syllabus for details on each Lesson. NOTE: Learners should be able to use a paintbrush with or without assistance. Supply List: * A canvas, canvas board, or multi-media paper (able to handle acrylic paint) to paint on each week * A black paint marker or Sharpie * Acrylic paints in a variety of colors (I use Arteza: https://amzn.to/3Ei33O7 ) * Several sizes of paint brushes * A cup of water for rinsing your brushes * A paint palette or paper plate * Rag or paper towels * Clothes that can get messy or an apron/large shirt to protect clothing from any art supplies used * A hair dryer is recommended to speed up paint drying time
