Hello!! 👋🏿

Are you looking for math instruction for your child or to further enrich your child's learning? Come join us 2 days a week!

My name is Mrs. Engle, and I am a certified mathematics teacher. 📚 With over 20 years' experience, my goal is to meet your child where they are at and to help them gain confidence along with mastering skills needed. 💪

If at any time your child needs extra assistance on any of our skills, please check out my 1 on 1 tutoring and enrichment. I look forward to meeting your child!

****Please note that if your child is just dropping in for a week, if they do not have prior knowledge of the topics, I have taught earlier that they may struggle. Please make sure to take that into consideration before signing up. I do not want frustrated children. I offer FREE tutoring and will do all I can to help your child, but communication is critical. If you do not let me know things, I cannot help.
***Please note that I do NOT offer make-up schedules if your child misses a class; instead, I ask that they watch the video recording. If your child then does not understand the class recording, please reach out. Otherwise, the playback video is what you will need to watch if you are out of class for the day or week. :)

Topics that will be taught are the following: Whole Numbers and Decimals, Fractions (Comparing, Ordering, Multiplying, Simplifying, Dividing), Rational Numbers, Ratios, Rates, and Percentages, Units of Measure, Algebraic Expressions, Algebraic Equations, Inequalities, and Variables, and Geometry (Area and Volume).

**Please note that lessons can change, be moved around, and made to fit the learners. I do NOT over test nor do I overload with homework. I do not do typical report cards, etc. I do keep in close communication with families. I do lots of verbal checking in classes, quick checks, and problem solving to make sure the concepts are locked in. This is not a typical brick and mortar class:).

Please note that topics may change depending on learners and how they are doing. IF the learners in the class all need more time on a topic, I will happily give them more attention in this area. Also, please remember that we all have illnesses and unexpected things that arise. I will offer a make-up class for any sick days that are missed by myself. No refunds will be given for missed classes as the learner can watch the videos and do the homework at any time. All make-up teacher missed classes will also not give out refunds if you cannot make the meeting as you can watch the video at your leisure. Thank you!

**IF at least 2 learners are not enrolled, you will be asked to move to a section with more learners! Thank you!!
