Full STEAM Ahead! is all about various topics in math, science, technology, engineering, and arts. Yes, art plays an important role (think design and process). Each week, we explore a different theme. One week we'll be solving math or logic problems to get out of an escape room, and the next we may be building a spaghetti bridge. We touch on physics with simple introductions to the famous f=ma equation, or Pv=nrt for chemistry. In biology we will build a model of human blood (don't worry, it's completely safe, edible actually!) and explore peristalsis and gardens. For math, we solve logic and spatial puzzles, try to outwit escape room mysteries, and draw some very cool math-related patterns. The proposed list of topics and supplies is listed below. Learning Goals
This class serves to introduce students to various STEAM topics. We don't necessarily discuss the details of each topic, but simply explore, experiment, and enjoy!
