Class Experience
Welcome families to my kindergarten class! I am a certified teacher in K-12 exceptional student education, reading, and English for speakers of other languages. I also hold a teaching certification in early education from birth through 4 years old. I am also a mom of three kids ages 7, 10, and 14. As a firm believer in the growth mindset, I believe that children have unlimited potential. I am excited to introduce you to my complete kindergarten curriculum. I truly enjoy developing engaging...
Learners will need the folllowing items for class: One pack of crayola crayons One sharpened pencil Safety scissors (adult assistance requested when using this item) One glue stick Any print outs as posted in the classroom page
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be assessed via submitted work and feedback will be provided each week for work submitted.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will use Nearpod in class once a week on Thursdays to answer our Social Studies questions. Parental assistance is requested during this time. No account is required. Parental assistance is required while learners use scissors, glue, or play dough as there is a possible danger when using these items. Parents must ensure the safety of the learner at home while using required materials for this class.
