This course is a thorough introduction to realistic portrait drawing that would be both fun and useful for all who love drawing and who'd be interested in understanding how to draw human faces. This course is a very detailed step by step guidance through all the main aspects of realistic drawing, such as composition, shading, hatching techniques, layering and more! We will be using the most accessible supplies (graphite pencils, a black pen and a black marker) to create our projects. I will be uploading a video with a full length drawing process at the beginning of each week, so that the students can follow along and draw together with me. Drawing process will be divided into a few steps with detailed information on what we are doing and why. Students will have one week to finish each piece and send it to the teacher through private messaging or upload it to the classroom. Students will receive a personalized constructive feedback on their work each week, as well as support and encouragement when needed during the drawing process. I will also promote students' communication with each other by posting an interactive activity for the students to work on together each week, such as trivia quizzes, scavenger hunt and fun fact sharing.
