In this one time class, children will learn 4 types of desserts in Russian and identify which desserts they like/dislike. Students will learn through use of body language, hand movements and visuals. Not an alphabet class.

In this one time course, learners will go over 3 desserts in Russian - chocolate, cakes and candies. Learners will learn some names of famous Russian candies. Groups in this course will have no more than 4 students to allow room for personalized instruction. Please keep in mind, learners will not just be learning simple vocabulary. This is a full immersion course with very little English spoken during class. Children will learn through body language, hand motions and lots of colourful visuals. This course is supposed to serve as an intro to my other 6 week courses. As a teacher, I will definitely make corrections and assess my students abilities. I'm planning to play some games like yes/no game and spin the wheel... Towards the end of the class, students will be able to tell me what desserts they like/dislike in a complete sentence in Russian. Please note, this is NOT an alphabet class. Basic Russian is needed to attend this course.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to say what their favorite dessert is using a complete sentence in Russian.
