5. Solving Complex Word Problems:

Multi-Step Problems: Develop strategies for solving two-step word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Math Patterns: Identify and use patterns in numbers, including even and odd patterns, and patterns in multiplication tables.

6. Exploring Geometry:

Quadrilaterals: Identify, classify, and analyze different types of quadrilaterals.
Area and Perimeter: Calculate area by counting unit squares and using formulas, and find perimeters by measuring side lengths and applying formulas. Understand the relationship between area and perimeter.

7. Measuring and Data Interpretation:

Time: Tell time to the nearest minute and solve time-related word problems.
Mass and Volume: Estimate and measure mass (grams and kilograms) and volume (milliliters and liters) and solve related word problems.
Graphs and Data: Create and interpret picture graphs, bar graphs, and line plots. Learn to measure lengths to the nearest quarter unit and plot data with fractions on line plots.

8. Developing Problem-Solving Skills:
