Description

Class Experience

Learning Goals:
This class is designed to strengthen your child's foundational math skills.  The ultimate goal would be for your child to master the concepts listed above along with learning fun methods to practice their new found skills.
Homework:
Each week, your learner will receive a packet of classwork as well as homework to practice what was learned in class.  Each session will also have a fun math project to complete.
Typical supplies needed for this class: -whiteboard with dry erase marker or chalkboard and chalk -folder to keep important papers -blank paper -regular and colored pencils -various manipulatives such as connecting cubes, coins, paperclips, counters, dice, playing cards or number flashcards -weekly packet printout - provided each week by Mrs. Gonzales
There will be an informal assessment done every couple of weeks and feedback will be sent to parents. 
Upon request, Mrs. Gonzales will provide additional feedback through a written report to the parents.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
